Apples on trees

San Miguel Basin CSU Extension is proud to be partnering with our local Apple Core Project for our 5th year of Heirloom Apple Grafting & Pruning Classes!

Apple Core is doing the majority of the organizing and teaching this year which is in keeping with their mission.

On March 23, 2019, meet at the Livery, 1555 Summit Street in Norwood.

TIME: 9 am for a morning of grafting followed by an optional afternoon of Pruning heirloom apple trees at a local orchard.  Lunch will be included.

In the Grafting class you will learn how to graft apple trees, explore fruit growing history in the region and prune established fruit trees. You will receive scion, rootstock, a knife to keep, and other materials. Or, bring your own scion to graft if you prefer.
