SMB CSU EXTENSION NATIVE PLANT EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Explore the unique river canyon plant communities along the Dolores River Road between Bedrock and Uravan, CO. This section of the canyon is home to the rare Astragalus linifolius (Grand Junction Milkvetch) and the desert-steppe canyon Galium coloradense (bedstraw). This class meets 9 am-4 pm. The cost of this class is $25.
Sign up by May 12 by 4pm. Payment is due in advance for all classes with no refunds unless cancelled due to weather.

              
Native Plant Classes MAY 27th,
JUNE 23 &

JULY 28th: SCOTCH CREEK
The trail head is east of Highway 145 3 miles south of Rico, CO.  We will hike up a 4-wheel-drive road with south facing rocky cliffs and north facing shady slopes dissected by the Creek at 8,500’. This class meets 9 am - 2 pm.  You can take 1 class for $20 or all 3 for $40.  You can also take this course for Native Plant Master Certification for $60-$90.
